Analysis for retention and separation of methylphosphonic, ethylphosphonic, ethyl methylphosphonic and isopropyl methylphosphonic acids was developed using Primesep SB reversed-phase anion-exchange column. Method is compatible with LC/MS and can be used for quantitation of phosphonic acid in water.
