HPLC Method for Analysis of Pioglitazone

Chr_1062

Pioglitazone is thiazolidinedione with antidiabetic properties, meaning it is a diabetes drug. It activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR-gamma), and works correctly only if used along a proper diet and exercise to control high blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes.Primesep 200, a reverse phase column, contains embedded acidic ionizable groups and can retain Pioglitazone. The method is UV compatible and can be used as a general approach for analyzing similar compounds.
