Develop, create and modify general computer utility application software or specialized utility programs for chemical analyzers. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually and/or coordinating database development as part of a team. Develop proprietary computer interfaces for chemical devices. Implement designs and customize software for use, while optimizing efficiency. Review design, code and maintain application. Participate in the testing and quality assurance process as necessary. Confer with management to obtain information on performance capabilities, requirements and interfaces. Obtain feedback and offer improvements to maintenance issues, design limitations, product reliability and features.
