Preparative HPLC Column Hardware Designed for Practical Use
SIELC preparative HPLC columns combine a uniform cylindrical design with practical features for temperature control, packing, and routine use. Available in configurations with internal diameters up to 50 mm and lengths up to 250 mm, they support compound purification and analytical-to-preparative scale-up.
- Lightweight construction: Aluminum components reduce column weight and hardware cost compared with an all-stainless-steel column of comparable size. All surfaces that contact chromatography liquids remain stainless steel.
- Uniform cylindrical exterior: The body provides convenient contact with heating and cooling equipment, supports efficient heat transfer, and accommodates full-size labels—even on short columns.
- Guard-column options: The guard system allows simple guard replacement. An optional holder enables direct guard attachment.
- Convenient packing: A dedicated packing adapter connects to the slurry adapter. After packing, the second frit, frit holder, and end piece are installed to close the packed bed.
- In-house manufacturing and testing: SIELC columns are manufactured and tested in-house and supplied with an original test chromatogram documenting performance against specifications.
