Hydrophobic basic compounds can be analysed by any Primesep column. Cation-exchange columns (Primesep D, B2) always provide good peak shape and efficiency due to charge repulsion phenomena since both analyte and column surfaces have the same positive charge. Cation exchange columns (Primesep 200, C) can also be used. They will increase retention and would usually require a higher buffer concentration.
