HPLC Determination of Ractopamine on Primesep 100 Column

Ractopamine is a livestock feed additive designed to promote muscle synthesis and leanness. It is banned in many countries, excluding the US, Canada and Mexico. It can be retained on a Primesep 100 Column in about 7 minutes. Primesep 100 is a reverse-phase (RP) mixed-mode column with embedded acidic ion-pairing groups.
