Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and an Ibuprofen-type anti-inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic that is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It can lead to a higher chance of a stroke. Primesep 200, a reverse phase column, contains embedded acidic ionizable groups and can retain Ketoprofen. The method is UV compatible and can be used as a general approach for analyzing similar compounds.
