SIELC Tubing

SIELC offers PEEK and PTFE tubing for purchase that we use regularly with our own testing.

What is PEEK?

PEEK has become one of the most popular alternatives & replacements for stainless steel tubing in the recent years for all types of fluidic needs.

PEEK is a high-performance polymer with many resistance characteristics that make it highly optimal for your HPLC applications.
It has many materials that make it immobile to most solvents. It has a polished interior surface that increases sample band resolution.
PEEK tubing has the ability to be used consistently and constantly under HPLC pressure without breaking or leaking. It is extremely flexible and can be cut into any length.

What is PTFE?

One of the main reasons PTFE is a popular choice is due to its many strong and sturdy characteristics, and more notably, its affordability

PTFE is a very versatile material that offers a wide range of applications.
It is hydrophobic, resistant to high temperatures and has many great non-stick characteristics.
There are many advantages when it comes to PTFE which include – Incredible chemical resistance, great corrosion protection, low friction, and much more.
